- In May 2019, Nysa was trolled for visiting a salon, a day after her grandfather Veeru Devgan passed away on May 27, 2019. Responding to the trolls, Ajay Devgn said:
They (trolls) really have no idea what’s going on. Let me give you an example, I’ve never talked about this. The day after I lost my father, my children were very sad. Nisha cried all day long, people were at home, there were a lot of people. I told her you go away and your mood will change. They’re here, we’re dealing with people, we’re doing this. You go out. She didn’t know where to go, so she left and went to a parlor. I said I was going to wash my hair or something. They clicked pictures of her entering the living room and trolled her. “Grandpa just passed away and she was in the living room.” What rights do they have? I sent her there to make her feel better, she was going through trauma. What right do they have to say that? This is ridiculous. “
