Paris Hilton Announces Her Second Album Infinite Icon Nearly 2 Decades After 'Stars Are Blind'

The long wait for Paris Hilton’s second album is almost over!

Hilton (43) announced her new album on Thursday Infinite icon will be released on September 6 – nearly two decades after the debut of her 2006 self-titled debut, which featured the hit single “Stars Are Blind.” The DJ also shared that the first single from Infinite icon it will be released in June, although it is not yet revealing the title.

Hilton teased the announcement in a star-studded video posted to Instagram on May 29. In the column, big name celebrities including Kris Jenner, Lance Bass, Demi Lovato, Dakota and Elle Fanning ask the hotel heiress “what’s the surprise?” and asking her to “spill the tea”.

Now that the tea has been spilled, Hilton fans can look forward to a new era for the 2000s reality star. In an April interview with BoardHilton shared that she is working on new music with Sia, with whom she previously collaborated on the single “Fame Won’t Love You.”

Hilton and Sia first linked up during a performance of “Stars Are Blind” alongside Miley Cyrus during the singer’s “Wrecking Ball” New Year’s Eve 2023 special for NBC. Their meeting led to the couple’s decision to make an album together.

“Sia asked if I wanted to fly home with her on her plane, we went and she said, ‘You were born to be a pop star.’ I said ‘It’s always been my dream.’ She said, ‘Well, what if we make a record?’ ”

During her time in the studio, Hilton said Sia helped her find the confidence to sing in her “real voice,” instead of the “sexy, breathy baby doll voice” she became known for.

“I literally didn’t even know I could sing the way I did,” she said Board. “She brought something out of me that no one ever did. Because I never felt comfortable with people in the studio.”
