Paris Hilton pays tribute to her “sister” Nicole Richie on her birthday.
Business woman and musician (43) made her famous A simple life Costa’s 43rd birthday pays tribute to her and their longtime friendship with a touching Instagram video.
“Nicole and I are having so much fun together,” Hilton said in a voiceover in the post. “It seems like we’re teenagers again every time we’re together. He just laughs every second. Happy Birthday Bill, Love Sill.”
The montage is composed of clips from the original A simple life and what appears to be footage of the two from the show’s new reboot.
Some of the older footage included shots of her and Richie in Sonic costumes, which contrasted with more recent clips of them toasting while holding a couple of Sonic drinks on the pavement.

Some other flashbacks included them laughing on a bus, dancing in a hotel lobby and dressed as flight attendants. She also shared fun clips of them having fun on a trip and running together in jerseys and pink socks.
Recent clips included the two in black dresses as they posed for pictures outside the Saban Theater marquee that read “Paris & Nicole: The Encore,” walking together off a private jet and posing for photos together before leaving in a black truck.
She captioned the post: “Happy Birthday Bill to my Sill, @NicoleRichie! 👯♀️🎉👑 So many unforgettable memories together 🥹 I can’t wait for everyone to see what we do next 😉🥰✨ I love you, sis! 💖 #Sanasa.”

In May, PEOPLE confirmed that the two best friends are reuniting to film a reboot of their hit reality show 16 years after it ended. Hilton teased that the new series “will be so iconic” and was excited to work with the actress again.
“I’m so excited to be doing this with Nicole at the Peacock. Nicole has been my best friend since we were 2 years old, every memory I have is with her,” Hilton told Hey! News. “I can’t wait for the fans to see.”
Nicole’s dad, Lionel Richie, joked Party tonight which fans will have to “hold on to”. [their] seat” while the reboot is in progress.

“They are older, but they haven’t changed, believe me. Let me tell you something, the two of them scare me just standing next to each other – he said. “I don’t know if the world knows this, [but] they started this mess and I was the first papa guinea pig to go along with it.”
He’s not the only one who thinks highly of the show, as Richie noted that her daughter Harlow, 16, and son Sparrow, 15, who she shares with Joel Madden, aren’t the biggest fans of the original.
“A simple life apparently having a big moment on TikTok, so they tell me they’re watching clips on TikTok,” she recalled. “It’s their friends watching it. I keep rolling my eyes at home. It’s in line with how I’m generally seen.”
