Patrick Mahomes has a very special guest appearing in his latest Adidas commercial.
On Monday, Nov. 25, the three-time Super Bowl champion, 29, took to Instagram to share footage of his latest collaboration with Adidas. His almost 2-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III made a special appearance in the video, ahead of his birthday on November 28.
In the sweet video, images and footage of Mahomes, his son and the bronze shoes flash across the screen in red and black dots. Thoughtful viewers may also notice that Mahomes’ daughter, 3-year-old Sterling Skye, also appears in the video, sitting on a bronze tricycle.
“Three rings, three stripes, three generations,” the Chiefs player says in a voiceover, referring to himself, his son and his father, former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes.
“The legend lives on the field,” the fullback continues as he and Bronze play together, the toddler seen carrying a glittery soccer ball. “Legacy lives on at home.”
“For bronze ⏰,” the Kansas City Chiefs player captioned his post. “Celebrating Bronze’s birthday with his very own colorway, now available on adidas.com.”
In a separate post, the sportswear company showed images of the bronze shoes, which feature a glittery twist on the classic Adidas stripe design, as well as bronze laces to finish off the look.
“Third time’s the charm ⏰,” Adidas captioned the post, revealing that the collection will be called “Mahomes 2 Bronze.”
Mahomes’ wife Brittany, 28, also shared the promo video on her Instagram Stories and couldn’t contain her excitement to see her child on film.
“Omg my wittle Bronze,” she wrote in her post.

Mahomes has long collaborated with the sportswear brand on footwear, jerseys and more — and earlier this year, the NFL superstar even announced that he and Adidas were working together to sign six students from his alma mater, Texas Tech, to they get NIL (name, picture and opportunity) job.
Student-athletes from several sports — including football, softball, basketball, golf, soccer and baseball have signed with him and Adidas’ Team Mahomes brand to participate in marketing campaigns, including for Mahomes’ signature footwear and apparel lines.

In addition to Bronze and Sterling, Mahomes is also expecting baby no. 3, as the couple announced in July that Brittany was pregnant.
At the time, the couple – who tied the knot in 2022 after 10 years of dating – shared a sweet video of themselves with their two children posing in all-white outfits, smiling, laughing and dancing alongside photos of sonograms in their arms.
“Third round, here we come 🤍,” the future parents captioned the video.
