Congratulations are in order for Post Malone.
On Tuesday, October 1, the 29-year-old musician was announced as the new male ambassador for UGG. Malone and the shoe brand collaborated on a global campaign, Lead a Horse, which kicks off with a short film celebrating the Weather Hybrid collection.
A refreshed take on the brand’s iconic Neumel and Tasman silhouettes, the design boasts a light blue sole made from renewable, rainfed sugar cane. The Tasman retails for $150 and the Neumel chukka boots are $180. Both feature waterproof suede and comfortable UGGplush recycled wool lining.
“I’ve been a fan of UGG since high school and I feel so good wearing these boots. I even had a custom camouflage pair made for me last year,” the star said via press release.

He continues: “That’s why I’m so excited to work with the brand and bring my team for this new campaign. Comfort of expression has always been at my core and that’s why this is such a killer partnership.”
Conceptualized and directed by campaign co-creator Ramez “Messy” Silyan, the video shows Malone leading a horse down a dirt road. When the horse refuses to walk over the puddle, the “I Had Some Help” singer stomps into the water, showing off the shoe’s waterproof features.

“We are thrilled to have Post Malone as our new men’s ambassador,” Anne Spangenberg, president of UGG, said in a press release. “At UGG, it’s all about being comfortable to express yourself, so partnering with Post Malone to express his creativity and co-create our new campaign with us is truly an honor.”
