Princess Eugenie Celebrates ‘Incredible Women’ with Candid Family Photos Featuring Princess Beatrice and Fergie

Princess Eugenie is giving a shout-out to some of the most important women in her life on International Women’s Day.

On Friday, Princess Eugenie, 33, posted a lovely tribute full of pictures on Instagram with her sister, Princess Beatrice, and their mother, Sarah Ferguson, including some never-before-seen footage.

“Happy International Women’s Day!” Eugenie captioned the carousel of nine photos. “Taking a moment to celebrate some of the amazing women in my life, while I’m so proud to raise the boys so they can continue to celebrate the women in their ❤️❤️❤️,” she continued, referring to her young sons Aug. 3 , and Ernest, 9 months, which she shares with her husband Jack Brooksbank.

Princess Eugenie’s montage began with a photo of her with her mum and sister at last year’s inaugural function for The Anti-Slavery Collective, the charity she co-founded to end modern slavery and human trafficking, followed by a photo of her with her mother, the Duchess of York, popularly known as as Fergie, at the event. The carousel rolled to a makeup-free selfie of Eugenie and Beatrice, 35, huddled together outside and an undated black-and-white photo of the sisters hugging their mother.

Princess Eugenie also weaved in family photos that royal watchers have already seen, including a hug picture Fergie posted after Eugenie announced she was expecting her second child and a photo of her sitting with Queen Elizabeth that she shared on the first anniversary of her grandmother’s death in September. The post closed with a throwback photo of the Duchess of York with her daughters when they were little.

Fergie, 64, celebrated her daughters, who she shares with ex-husband Prince Andrew, in her own Instagram post on Friday – which she may have put together from a photo of herself!

“Happy International Women’s Day. Today is a day to celebrate, honor, respect and love all women who make an impact, big or small, private or loud,” she wrote on social media under the photos she previously posted. “Thankful for all the amazing women in my life and I remember all those who left their deep light in my heart forever.”

The Duchess of York opened the post with a photo of herself driving an open convertible with a young Princess Beatrice in the back seat, which she previously shared for her daughter’s birthday in 2023. The collection transitioned to a studio shot of her daughters, her with Princess Diana at Epsom Downs racecourse in 1987. and returning from his own childhood with his sister Jane and late mother Susan, who died in 1998.

The carousel included a picture of a young Queen Elizabeth, who Fergie previously told PEOPLE was her “total idol,” and a picture of Fergie with her late friend, Lisa Marie Presley.

The Duchess of York and Elvis Presley’s daughter were close friends, and Fergie spoke at Lisa Marie’s memorial service at Graceland after her death in January 2023, where she quoted Queen Elizabeth.

“I stand here with great honor because we used to call each other ‘sissies,’ and I’ve been with you all my whole life, really,” Fergie began at the service.

“Sissy this is for you with love,” she continued. “My late mother-in-law used to say that nothing [that] It can be said that it can begin to remove the anxiety and pain of these moments, because sadness is the price we pay for love. And how right she was.”
