Rent the Runway Launches ‘The Vault’ Line with Dresses Seen on Jennifer Lopez and More Stars

Rent the Runway brings new styles that will add a touch of A-list glamor to your wardrobe.

On Monday, the subscription fashion service released The Vault, a new collection of luxe eveningwear created by brands like Paris Georgia and Brandon Maxwell.

Brands in the new collection include Oscar de la Renta, Zac Posen and Giambattista Valli, who appear for the first time at RTR. This is the first step in the company’s mission to make luxury more accessible than ever.

Etro is another brand that enters the Rent the Runway verse and brings with it something special. The Skylark Maxi Dress, worn by Jennifer Lopez on a night in Capri 2022, originally retailed for nearly $4,000. You can rent it on RTR from as little as $300.

I tried Rent the Runway’s new subscription plan and only rent clothes from now on.

“We decided to launch this new category on Rent the Runway because we know our customers are already obsessed with these designers—they might be fans because they see them on social media or on their favorite celebrity,” says Rent the Runway Founder and CEO Jenn Hyman PEOPLE. “Not all of us have the luxury of a celebrity stylist, but through this launch, our customers can have the same luxury experience of wearing a $4,000 J. Lo-approved Etro dress—and you can hire it for a fraction of the retail price.”

The “JLo dress” isn’t the only celebrity-worn item in The Vault. In November, actress Rosario Dawson was seen walking the carpet at the CFDA Fashion Awards in a white strapless Mara Hoffman gown with a large rosette attached to the front. Now RTR users can rent the White Maia Dress for $90.

“Modern luxury is an experience,” Hyman tells PEOPLE. “That’s why we’ve always offered access to red carpet styles without the red carpet price tag. We are thrilled to now be launching luxury evening wear on Rent the Runway as we take our dream wardrobe to the next level.”

Now live, items from The Vault line are exclusively available for one-off rentals for 4 or 8 days, allowing anyone to dress like a celebrity this holiday season. Using an exclusive discount code RTRLOVESPEOPLEPEOPLE readers are eligible for 20% off a one-time rental order through December 7th at 2:59am.
