RHOC’s Emily Simpson Says She’s Hopeful Shannon Beador’s Alleged DUI Arrest Will Be Her ‘Rock-Bottom Moment’

Emily Simpson is hoping Shannon Storms Beador’s arrest for an alleged hit-and-run under the influence of drugs will be the enlightenment the reality TV star needs to make some much-needed changes in her life.

Following Beador’s brush with the law earlier this week, The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 47, spoke with Party tonight in connection with her castmate and her recent troubles.

“I was in shock. I was blown away,” Simpson told the paper, noting that at first she almost didn’t believe the news because she thought it might be “something someone made up.”

After coming to terms with Beadora’s arrest, Simpson said she reached out to her colleague, though their conversation was brief. “We actually corresponded briefly,” Simpson said. “I think she needs space.”

“I just asked her how she was and I said, ‘I hope you’re okay, and if you need anything, please, you can contact me,’ and that was basically it,” she added.
