Miss Earth Tanzania 2006
Richa Adhia won the title of “Miss Earth Tanzania” in 2006. She represented Tanzania in the 2006 Miss Earth competition held in the Philippines and was considered the strongest contestant from Africa. She is one of the top 15 swimsuit contestants on the show. However, she failed to reach the semifinals in the finals.
Miss Tanzania 2007
She subsequently participated in other regional beauty pageants and won the title of Miss Kinondoni in 2007. She then qualified for the Miss Tanzania 2007 competition and won the title. Richa went on to compete in the 2007 Miss World competition in China, becoming the first Asian contestant to represent an East African country in the Miss World beauty pageant.

Miss India Tanzania 2010
Richa had the opportunity to represent Tanzania at the Miss India Global competition held in Durban, South Africa. She was one of the top ten contestants and won the Best Model award.

Apart from modeling, Richa has also appeared in films such as 2009’s “Full Moon”, 2012’s “Zamora” and 2013’s “Siri Ya Mtungi”.
