Relationships, husbands and children
Ridhi and Raqesh first met each other during the shooting of Yash Raj serial Seven Deadly Sins (2010) at Globus Mall, Mumbai. They became good friends during the shooting of the TV serial Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? (2010), in which Ridhi and Raqesh played the lead roles. Later, they decided to get married and tied the knot on Sunday, May 29, 2011.

In an interview, when asked about having children, she said,
Fortunately, we both have very understanding parents and families. They definitely want us to have children, and we know they would be happy and the best grandparents in the world if we do, but they let us be free and respect our space and ideas. You know, for practical reasons, we have to leave the city and raise our children in an ideal environment. I see parents constantly running around because of having children. What kind of world will the children come into? So we thought, maybe we can adopt a child and give him a better future. “
After nearly seven years of marriage, they divorced in 2019. Ridhi and Rakesh released a joint statement confirming their separation in 2019.
Yes, we are living separately. This decision was made out of mutual respect and concern for each other and our families. We are best friends, maybe not a couple anymore. But our friendship will remain the same, through thick and thin. Without further speculation, I am so grateful for the love you have shown us so far.”
After the divorce, Ridhi said in an interview,
We were good friends and had a great relationship. If I were to devalue or take away the grace and dignity of our relationship, then I would be saying the seven years we spent together were garbage, which is not true. I have grown into a mature person and I have a lot to be grateful to Rucker for and always will. We told each other’s families that we will always be a family.”

She made her debut as an actress in the Hindi television series Jhoome Jiiya Re (2007). She has acted in several television series including Hindi Hai Hum (2009), Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg (2010), Laagi Tujhse Lagan (2010), Savitri (2013) and Woh Apna Sa (2017).
In 2013, she participated in the celebrity couple TV dance reality show “Nach Baliye 6” along with her ex-husband Raqesh Vashisth.
