Rohit Bal started his career as a fashion designer in 1986 with his brother Rajeev Bal in a company called Orchid Oversea Pvt. He founded his own brand in 1990. In September 2017, Rohit Bahl was arrested by Delhi Police from Defense Colony. According to reports, Rohit’s neighbor Iqbal Singh lodged a complaint against him and his friends, alleging that the four men forced their way into his home, “under the influence of alcohol, threatened him and created a disturbance”. A case was registered and Rohit Bahl was released on bail the next day. Subsequently, Barr’s assistant issued a statement on the matter and said,
It was a fight over a parking spot. Now it’s all over and he (Barr) is taking a break. “
