Romeo Beckham Reveals He and Girlfriend Mia Regan Split ‘After 5 Years of Love’

Romeo Beckham and Mia Regan went their separate ways.

Romeo and Regan, both 21, released statements on their Instagram accounts on Sunday, announcing their breakup.

“Mooch and I broke up after 5 years of love,” Romeo wrote over a selfie of him and Regan sticking their tongues out at each other. “We still have a lot of love and respect for each other, we still have a strong friendship and we always will 🤍🤍.”

Regan also shared a selfie with Romeo on her Story, as she wrote: “This is ro, we’ve grown up with each other since we were 16!! Love takes different forms and paths as you mature.”

Although she shared that the couple is no longer together “romantically,” she said they still “share lots and lots of love for each other… after 5 years we became friends heheh ❤️❤️❤️.”

The former couple started dating when they were 16 in 2019, although they didn’t make their first public appearance together until two years later at Wimbledon.

In November 2021, they walked the first red carpet together as a couple. Reagan then said Vogue that Victoria Beckham relaxed her nerves before the main moment.

“Even just talking about what I’m wearing with her, what nails and makeup I’m going to choose, it’s nice to have that figure,” she told the Spice Girls outlet.

The model developed a particularly strong relationship with Victoria during the time she spent with her and David Beckham’s second eldest son.

In 2022, the pair collaborated professionally as they released a six-piece denim capsule for eponymous label Victoria.

The fashion designer, 49, told Vogue Regan, “Mia has always had a unique approach to fashion and styling. I love that she’s fun and isn’t afraid to try new things when it comes to her personal style, which is reflected in the capsule.”

She added: “This capsule is so totally Mia. And I love that.”

Romeo and Regan reportedly broke up once before, in July 2022, due to distance, but their separation was short. Just five months later, Romeo shared a post with the model on Instagram, showing that their relationship was back on.

They often showed each other their love on social media, with the Brentford FC player regularly posting snaps with Regan from their various glamorous outings. In July, he posted a photo from Glastonbury with the model lying on his lap on the grass, writing: “Crazy how happy I am with this person :).”

On her birthday in November, Romeo also showed his appreciation for Regan on Instagram as he shared several selfies with the model and a loved-up shot of them kissing on the dance floor. “HAPPY 21st beautiful girl, I love you so much ♥️♥️,” he captioned the post.

Romeo showed his then-girlfriend an even more lasting love by getting a tattoo dedicated to her.

Regan posted a photo of the new ink — the word “Mooch” — on his right arm inside the elbow. Refers to her nickname and part of her Instagram name, “Mimi Moocher”.
