“Yes, he speaks Italian. Yes, he loves marinara, and he got his name from olive oil,” the TV host joked about his new dog
Ryan Seacrest shared a glimpse of his new puppy love.
Earlier this month, Wheel of Fortune The 49-year-old host announced on Instagram that he recently added another dog to his pack.
On Monday morning the former Living with Kelly and Ryan the host visited his old stomping ground, where he told a little more about Oli with hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. During their conversation, Ripa, 53, asked her former co-host if there were any new additions to her love life, which gave Seacrest a chance to talk about his new pooch.
“Is he an Italian dog?” Conseulos asked.
“Yeah, he speaks Italian,” Seacrest joked. “Yes, he likes marinara, and he got his name from olive oil.”
“Now, Georgia, what does she think of this new addition?” Consuelos asked Seacrest’s beloved senior dog.
“Georgia has been rolling her eyes for a few months,” joked the American Idol host. “And now they are close.” He explained that Georgia is “climbing up”.

Ripa then jokingly asked if the new dog was hunting truffle hunters. “Is this one of your truffle hunting dogs?”
“I haven’t signed Oli up for the truffle hunting language school yet, you know,” Seacrest said.
Ripa quickly asked, “Does Olio only speak English?” He cheekily retorted, “Dogs don’t talk.”
“But they understand,” Consuelos added.
“He doesn’t speak Italian,” Seacrest confirmed. “Yes, I don’t command him in Italian.” But with a little help from Consuelos, Seacrest suggested he might start commanding Olia to go to sleep exclusively in Italian.

Seacrest first shared footage of Oli and Georgia on February 1 via Instagram.

The carousel of photos includes Seacrest holding the new puppy on his lap, smiling broadly for the camera. In another shot, his niece is spotted with Georgia and Olia.
