Sanya Malhotra was born on February 25, 1992 (age 29) in Delhi, India. Sanya, best known for her role as Babita Phogat in Dangal, is gradually spreading her wings in the glamor world. Her Bollywood journey started as a model appearing in advertisements of many top brands. In the audition for the popular character ‘Babita Kumari’ in ‘Baba’, she beat around 10,000 girls to get the lead role. Her versatile acting skills impressed everyone, and after her groundbreaking performance in the movie Dangal, she bagged multiple movies. She worked with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Ritesh Batra’s “Photograph”, with Radhika Madan in Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Pataakha” and with Ayushmann Khurrana in “Badhai Ho”.
