Savannah Chrisley’s parents’ marriage is still going strong.
The Unlocked The podcast host has called out media reports that her mother, Julie Chrisley, is “hiring a lawyer to file for divorce” from her father, Tomd Chrisley. Savannah, 26, said on her Instagram Story on Monday that the suggestion is patently untrue.
“No, my mother did not hire a lawyer. If she had, it would have gone through me,” she wrote. – So, that whole story is a lie.
Savannah added: “It’s sad that we live in a world that wants to tear families apart and wants to spew hate and lies. And it’s just completely crazy.”

Giving an update on how the Chrisley family matriarch is dealing with the long-term couple’s split amid prison, Savannah said: “I was just sitting with my visiting mother this weekend and she was crying about how much she misses my father.”
Todd, 54, and Julie, 50, were originally sentenced in November 2022 to 19 years in prison. A few months after they checked into separate facilities in January, their sentences were slightly reduced. They are currently in the process of appealing their case.

Despite the distance, since Todd stayed in Florida while Julie was in Kentucky, the two of them Chrisley knows best the alums decided to stay married to each other. But Savannah confirmed last month that they had been unable to communicate with each other while behind bars.
“195 days without words…” Savannah wrote on her Instagram Story alongside photos of the couple. “My heart is breaking…”

After more than 200 days of no communication, their son Chase Chrisley said the separation was “really hard because my mom and dad are obsessed with each other.”
“They’re hanging in there. It’s a terrible situation,” Chase, 27, said Extra last month. “Conditions [of their prisons] are awful and if you read all these headlines, they say the exact opposite, but that’s not true and we’re also going to spread awareness about that. Everyone has this perception that my parents are in this country club prison, and that’s not the case at all.”
