Bre Tiesi finds out that Chelsea Lazkani’s husband is cheating on her

Like it or not, Tiesi was involved in Lazkani’s shocking divorce from husband Jeff after almost seven years of marriage.

In episode 3, Tiesi learns from her friend Amanda that Lazkania’s husband has been spotted “making out” with another woman. Despite a long-running feud with Lazkani, Tiesi decides to tell her fellow agent what she heard while the two sat down for drinks.

“A friend I’ve known for a few years, Amanda, asked us to go to lunch,” Lazkani explains in episode 5. “She told me that a friend of hers, who she’s still very close to and seeing, lives at the W Hotel in Hollywood, and that he saw your husband with some girl…”

She notes that her friend Amanda had “confirmation” of text messages stating that Lazkania’s husband was seen “making out” with a woman at the hotel. While Tiesi claims she only had good intentions in bringing this information to Lazkana, things start to get messy when fellow agents Stause and Hernan step in and question why she would bring up such a sensitive subject on camera.

“Can you clarify if you set up the scene with Amanda?” Stause asks Tiesi over the phone while sitting with Lazkani and Hernan in episode 7. In disbelief at what she’s being accused of, Tiesi ends the conversation with, “Now I’m getting really freaking mad. ”

The situation ends awkwardly when Tiesi cancels lunch with Hernan and Stause and later unfollows Hernan on Instagram.

There’s a new agent in town

Viewers meet Alanna Gold in the first episode, and she reveals that she grew up in a rural town in Canada, that she is 32 years old and has been in real estate for three years. She also shares a very unique detail about her personal real estate portfolio — she owns a working Western desert town called Pioneertown that was once a movie set.

Gold later invites the agents to stay in the California town and experience what it’s all about, though only Bonnet, Smith and Young make the trip.

Despite finding out she lost an important Manhattan Beach listing to Bonnet and Lazkani in episode 2, Gold proves she’s up for any challenge in the highly competitive real estate industry—especially when Brett entrusts her with a property in progress in the Hollywood Hills that ends up presenting multiple challenges.

Nicole Young claims that Emma Hernan was having an affair with a married man

In episode 5, Young says she heard something about Hernan that is “morally disturbing” and could “really affect marriages” while visiting Pioneertown with Gold, Smith, and Bonnet. Although she doesn’t specify exactly what she heard, Young later talks to Gold, who advises her to ask Hernan directly if the rumors are true.

In episode 10, Young tells Gold that she “respectfully” didn’t take her advice and reveals what the rumor is about.

“I heard from a reliable source that Emma probably had an affair with a married man. And if Chelsea is going through what I think she’s going through, it’s pretty messed up that Emma would act so righteous about it,” Young says in the confessional-style clip. “I think if the roles were reversed, I don’t think she would go out of her way to protect the rumors she heard about me.”

In the final episode, she brings her information to Tiesa, who replies with a mischievous smile, “She’s not a husband-snapper…” She adds, “I don’t have any loyalty at this point. I feel like being a good person, or trying to be , just crashed. So at this point the gloves are off.”

Before the season premiered and viewers learned what it was all about, Stause and Lazkani took to social media to defend Hernan, saying the “harmful lie” Young is spreading in season eight is not true.

Mary Bonnet and Chelsea Lazkani go head to head

A brand new feud could shock viewers in episode 1 when Bonnet reveals she fell out with Lazkani because he called her “the biggest shaker in the office” during a social media Q&A. Bonnet says she was “blindsided” when Lazkani then texted her saying: “Don’t say my fucking name.”

Later in episode 3, tensions escalate when Bonnet approaches Lazkana to discuss what happened and see if they can move on during Smith’s 47th birthday party. The conversation goes awry and the agents start yelling at each other to the point where Bonnet’s husband Romain gets involved, further infuriating Lazkani.

Despite the intense exchange, the two are able to overcome their differences during an emotional scene in episode 4 when Bonnet sheds tears after Lazkani apologizes. Lazkani notes that he “feels closer” to Bonnet after they both opened up about their “traumas” they experienced when they were younger.

“Life goes the way it’s supposed to go,” Manziel tells Ties during the episode. “Now you are in a position where you got exactly what you wanted in life. And I’m proud of you for that and I’m happy for you.”

He continues: “I learned a lot about what I was dealing with badly. I was a lost, depressed kid who ran around the Hollywood Hills, got drunk every night and lived in a nightclub. And probably a lot of time behind your back.”

Tiesi interjects, “Oh, you spent a lot of time with someone else on their back, but yeah, it’s okay,” referring to infidelity during their marriage.

Manziel replies with a laugh, “Yeah, Bre, yeah. I know.” He adds: “To this day, I still feel bad for treating you like that. The divorce after we broke up was one of the hardest times of my life, I cried and begged and begged.”

Bonnet and Jason share an emotional moment together in episode 8 when the founder of the Oppenheim Group reveals that their 18-year-old dog Niko has kidney failure and only a few days left to live. The two, who were in a relationship, shared custody of Niko since their split.

Later in the episode, Jason’s twin brother Brett tells all the agents that Niko is dead and bursts into tears. Jason then hosts a luncheon at his home and reveals that he and Mary have used Nik’s ashes to tattoo their arms in honor of their beloved dog.

In the next episode, they hold an elaborate funeral attended by all the agents and their close friends. After the emotional service, Tiesi, Lazkani, Stause and Hernan begin to discuss the same question of whether Tiesi had planned all along to talk about Lazkani’s husband’s infidelity on camera.

Bonnet later says she was “disgusted by the behavior” of her fellow agents because it was disrespectful to them to fight at Nik’s funeral.
