Four planes were involved in two separate collisions at Boston’s Logan International Airport on the Monday before Thanksgiving, causing confusion for some travelers as they begin the holiday week.
The first collision occurred around noon on Nov. 25 when an American Airlines flight that had just arrived from London’s Heathrow Airport and was entering the gate struck the wingtip of a parked Frontier plane, American Airlines said in a statement to PEOPLE.
There were no reports of injuries as a result of the incident, the airline said, adding that the aircraft involved had been taken out of service so it could be inspected.
Frontier Airlines told PEOPLE in a statement that there were 200 passengers on board at the time, but no one reported injuries.
Ozzy Palchik, a passenger on the Frontier, told local outlet WCVB that, “It was like a blow, kind of. Then we were just waiting and the pilot said there was an incident with the plane next to us.”
NBC Boston reported that the Frontier plane was scheduled to fly to Dallas, but that everyone on board had to be rebooked after the plane sustained damage.

“All of a sudden we felt this… I didn’t know what it was,” passenger April O’Brien told the outlet. “I say, ‘What is that?’ and then suddenly I looked out the window, it was right in front of my window. American Airlines came right into our wing.”
The Federal Aviation Administration says it is investigating the crash, as well as another that happened at the same airport a few hours later.
At 6:15 p.m., a JetBlue plane was being towed when the tow truck hit the back of a Cape Air plane waiting to park at the gate, the Massachusetts Port Authority said.

The Massachusetts Port Authority says both incidents were minor and occurred at low speeds.
“It was an absolute mess, lights were everywhere,” Caroline Agid, a passenger scheduled to board the JetBlue flight, told WCVB.
The outlet further reported that a scheduled JetBlue flight, bound for Orlando, was delayed by hours as a result.
