Shelter dog comforts his sister with a warm hug after being rescued

When you have your loved ones by your side, you have everything with you. Last week, Ohio Animal Welfare, a nonprofit humanitarian organization, received a call. It says that the dog family needs their help.

The nonprofit’s CEO, Jane MacMurchy, and a human employee went to the address to find a mother and her two puppies living in filth.

It is clear that the owners do not care about the dogs, and the small family has learned to depend on each other. Their condition is terrible.

Two 5-month-old puppies, Peaches and Layla, were handed over by their owners to the rescue team. . Their 7-year-old mother, Lady, was also there.

While the veterinary examination showed the dogs to be healthy, the puppies lacked confidence. They don’t know what to do when mom isn’t there to show them. They then see Peaches and Layla hugging for comfort in the bunker.

A small family lives together in a shelter where they learn the meaning of safety. They are given relaxation several times a day and receive some TLC in a quiet room and with a staff member to teach them how to trust.

They are much better when their mother is around. So they work for all three at the same time, as well as for each individual. This will give them confidence in themselves.

Just days after the rescue, Lady had confidence in herself. She is eager to meet new people and go for walks. However, the socialization of her two puppies will take a little longer.

When Peaches and Layla are finally ready to be adopted, we hope they will be in the same house. They will receive hugs from each other and from their new loving family.
