Siddharth Randeria is an Indian actor, writer, theater director, theater producer and theater artist who works primarily in the Gujarati film industry. He is known for his role in the Gujarati film Gujjubhai the Great (2015). He is also popular for his drama series Gujjubhai.

Siddharth Randeria was born on Saturday, December 17, 1955, in Bombay, Bombay (now Mumbai, Maharashtra, India), India (age 67; as of 2022). His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. Influenced by his father’s background in Gujarati theater, Siddharth developed a passion for acting at an early age. As a child artist, he began acting in plays and in 1969, at the age of 14, in the play Chakko-Makko.

While in college, Siddharth joined the college’s drama troupe and participated in several inter-school drama competitions, winning awards for his performances. He continued to participate in inter-school drama for three years and later moved to the National Theater of India, where he was selected to star in Vairi, a play based on the Second World War. Many popular faces are seen in the show including Paresh Rawal, Mahendra Joshi, Arundhati, Shankar Nag and Homi Wadia. At the same time, he joined a construction company to supplement his income. He worked as an interior designer for 15 years before becoming a full-time theater artist.

Siddharth Randeria started his career as a theater artist in 1970 and worked in many popular Gujarati dramas such as Gurubrahma, Rang Che Rajja, Bas Kar Bakula, Carry On Lalu, Parnela Chaiye Kone Kahiye”, “Khandan” and “Ramat Shooniya Chaukadini”.

In addition to being a theater artist, he also works as a theater writer and director. He is widely acclaimed on stage with his iconic Gujjubhai series. Starting with Gujjubhai E Gaam Gajaavyu in 2002, Siddharth went on to star in many hit dramas of the series, including Lage Raho Gujjubhai (2007), Lo Gujjubhai Ghode Chadya (2010), Gujjubhai ni Golmaal (2012), Gujjubhai Banya Dabangg ( 2015), Rang Rangila Gujjubhai (2017) and Bluffmaster Gujjubhai (2019). The series has completed hundreds of performances around the world.

He made his debut in Gujarati films in 2015 with the film Gujjubhai The Great. He plays the role of Hasmukh Gandhi, an ordinary Gujarati who lives with his family and incorporates delightful humor into their daily lives. He adds a touch of playfulness to the family atmosphere by fearlessly expressing his thoughts about his wife, son and mother-in-law in a tongue-in-cheek manner.

Three years later, he appeared in the sequel GujjuBhai – Most Wanted. In the same year, he played the lead role in the Gujarati film Natsamrat (2018), a remake of the Marathi film of the same name.

He then appeared in the blockbuster film Chaal Jeevi Laiye! (2019), became one of the highest-grossing Gujarati films of all time. The film was in theaters for about a year. He also starred in the Gujarati films Kehvatlal Parivar (2022) and Bushirt (2023).
