Sister Wives' Christine Brown is Focusing on 'Work' In Order to 'Keep Moving Forward' After Garrison's Death

His mother and Christine’s ex-sister wife, Janelle Brown, confirmed Garrison’s death at the age of 25 earlier this month

Christine Brown is turning her attention to other things to deal with the loss of Garrison Brown.

The Sister wives The 51-year-old star shared a video on Instagram in which she addressed her fans and explained how she has turned her attention to work while still grieving Garrison’s death.

“It’s been two weeks since Garrison died,” she began, letting out a big sigh. “That’s never easier to say. And I have to keep working because that’s what I understand, that’s what I know and that’s what I know to do.”

Christine went on to explain that she does most of her work on social media and thanked her followers for giving her the space to process Garrison’s sudden death online.

“It’s terrible to lose our son, terrible and we’re going to miss him all the time, every day for the rest of our lives, so we have to keep moving forward,” she said, adding that she would otherwise “want to stay in bed all day” if she didn’t focus on her job.

After thanking everyone for their support and condolences, the TLC star reminded her fans to “start reaching out to the people you love and let them know.”

“If you want to call somebody, you have to call them and just reach out and keep doing it,” she concluded.

Christine Brown says ‘every photo with Garrison’ is ‘infinitely more important than ever’ after his death

Earlier this month, Christine’s ex-sister wife, Janelle Brown, announced the sudden death of her son Garrison at the age of 25 in a statement shared on Instagram.

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful baby boy Robert Garrison Brown,” her post began. “He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.”

“We ask that you respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory,” the statement concluded. His father Kody Brown (55) shared the same statement on social networks, and many members of the Brown family followed suit.

At the time, Lt. Charles M. Hernandez II of the Flagstaff Police Department also confirmed the sad news, telling PEOPLE in a statement, “On 05/03/2024, Flagstaff police officers responded to a report of a domestic death.” FPD confirmed that Garrison’s brother Gabriel, 22, “discovered Mr. Brown dead” in the alleged suicide.

TLC fans were first introduced to Garrison on Sister wives, which documented the life of his family, including siblings Maddie, 28; Savana, 19 years old; Logan, 29 years old; Hunter, 27, and Gabe, are all children of Janelle and Kody. Kody also shares 12 other children with his ex and current wife’s sister: Christine, Meri and Robyn Brown.
