The midfielder last night apologized for his “gross lack of judgement”.
He went to party after his side’s final pre-season game against Bayern Munich in north London on Saturday night.
During a wild night of booze, the star, 27, was seen taking nitrous oxide in a chauffeured limousine transporting him and friends.
The player confusingly shared a video of himself starting the crime spree with friends on Snapchat.
Possession of laughing gas with intent to smoke was made illegal last year, and repeat offenders face up to two years in prison and an unlimited fine.
A witness said: “It is hard to believe that any Premier League star would openly accept hippy crack. It is a criminal offense and Yves is now likely to face a police investigation, let alone severe club sanctions.
“The new season starts next weekend and he has let every Spurs fan down.
“Boss Ange Postecoglou will see red. Sharing the footage personally is completely foolish.”
The use of nitrous oxide can lead to brain disorders, depression, memory loss, incontinence, hallucinations and nerve damage.
Last night, Bissouma said: “I want to apologize for these videos. It was a serious lapse of judgment.

“I understand how serious this is and the health risks involved, and I take my responsibility as a footballer and role model very seriously.”
Tottenham Hotspur told The Sun: “We are checking the events.
“This will be handled as an internal matter.”
Bissouma, who joined Spurs from Brighton in 2022, is the latest in a long line of Prema stars to hit the gas.
In May, it was revealed that an unnamed player had been treated by paramedics for several months after he was found to be addicted to nitrous oxide.
