He went on to play college football at the University of Washington and the University of Montana. The Buffalo Bills selected Steve in the second round of the 1972 NFL Draft, demonstrating his exceptional defensive line ability.
He went on to play for the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals, leaving his mark on the field. But Steve’s narrative doesn’t stop there. After leaving the NFL, he became the principal of Luxemburg-Casco High School in Wisconsin. In addition, he volunteered as a coach for the Spartans football program, which he enjoyed. Sadly, we will say goodbye to this amazing guy on February 25, 2024.
