Now her daughter will take the famous brand with her as she continues to perform nightly in her British hometown.
Vicky’s long-time loyal fans flooded the internet with adoration for the ever sassy performer who was known for making everything ‘disappear’.
One wrote: “God bless you and your family your mum put Benidorm on the map when you said Benidorm everyone said Sticky Vicky what a beautiful woman what an entertainer RIP.”
Another said: “Sending you all the love…..see your mum on my 21st birthday, a true legend in her lifetime.”
A third commented: “So sorry for your loss… Your beautiful mum was a true legend, we feel so privileged to have seen her so many times. RIP beautiful lady. Sending love to her family.”
“So sorry for your loss, keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers xxx. Amazing lady at rest,” wrote a fourth.
A fifth offered, “I was 14 when I first heard about your beautiful mom… I finally saw her many times in my 40’s and also your show.
“Benidorm will now be dark at night…. having lost their biggest star.. an absolute legend… Bless you.”
The entertainer first trained as a ballet dancer for 15 years before creating a naked magic show that premiered in Barcelona.
The mother-of-two moved to Benidorm in the 1980s, where she was known for her wild X-rated performances.
Her shows involved retrieving various objects from private parts of the body, including table tennis balls and razor blades.
Brits started flocking to see her in action and she quickly cemented herself as a forever part of Benidorm’s history.
She performed in the Costa Blanca resort, which is nicknamed Little England because of the large number of British tourists.
In her best days, she performed six shows a night, six times a week.
After a 30-year acting career, she finally hung up her dancing boots in 2016.
Asked what she would change in her life if she could before retirement, she said in an interview: “Nothing. I have a fantastic life, with wonderful family and friends.
“What more could anyone want?”
Her last show took place just days before her hip surgery.
The following year, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer.
In April, the adored star celebrated her 80th birthday as messages of love were posted all over the internet,
One fan commented: “So many years of entertaining everyone who has visited Benidorm over the years. Well done Vicky Leyton. Happy 80th birthday and thanks for being a Benidorm legend.”
The cheeky user suggested the performer celebrate with some well-deserved champagne: “I wonder how he’s going to pop the cork on the champagne? Happy birthday.”
In July, she was hospitalized after crushing her knees while getting into a car a month earlier.
She spent five days in the hospital and was discharged, but quickly returned after suffering pain and a possible infection.
She wrote on Facebook on July 3: “Greetings to everyone. First of all I want to know that I’m fine, last week I had an accident before I got into the car and I fell on the ground.
“We spent five days in the hospital.
“After being discharged and returning home, today we are here again, because I am in a lot of pain and you have to see if I have an infection.
“I hope not and we can go home today. We’ll report on the evolution. Take care.”
Since then, little has been heard about the star.
Vicky left behind a son, Eduardo, and a daughter, Maria, who proudly carried on her late mother’s legacy.
Maria uses the same stage name as Sticky Vicky, saying she was inspired to do so after impersonators tried to make money by performing similar acts.
The flexible woman bills herself as “the real daughter and only daughter of the legend Sticky Vicky for 30 years” and performs nightly in Benidorm.
In 2021, she said she wants to revive the Sticky Vicky spectacle for loyal fans and new generations of tourists.
She said at the time: “I decided to do her show when everyone wanted to use her name and lie to the public about who her daughter was.
“My intention was to team up with my mother to be stronger and silence the liars.”
Meanwhile, Maria has revealed that her mum is suffering from early onset dementia and is using a walker while she awaits a second hip replacement.
Vicky said at the time: “I hope to be back on my feet soon.
“It’s very nice that my daughter wants to continue what I’ve been doing these years and keep the show alive.
“My days on the stage are over, but I hope I can follow her.”
