Sydney Sweeney Celebrates Her Birthday with ‘80s Prom-Themed Party

Sydney Sweeney loves a good party!

The Euphoria star, who turned 26 on Tuesday, celebrated her birthday with a huge ’80s-themed prom over the weekend.

Sweeney teased the festivities on her Instagram Story on Sunday with an aesthetically filtered photo of mirror balls and pink curtains draped across the ceiling.

To show what the rest of her night was like, she reposted a few of her friends’ Instagram stories from the night. Mirror balls and pink curtains could be seen in one photo of the event, along with a lighted dance floor, balloon displays and a white banner with pink text that read “Syd’s Prom” on glittering metallic fringe.

Another image shows a blue and pink starry backdrop with two color-coordinated balloon arches that people would take photos in front of at a real prom in the 80s.

Some of the other decorations included a photo booth courtesy of Revolve and Polaroid.

Staying true to her theme, the actress wore a hot pink mini dress with puff sleeves that looked like it was straight out of the 80s, as seen in photos of her posing with guests.

She also captured the signature style of the decade with her voluminous blonde curls and accessories including a small purse and platform heels, both adorned with adorable bows.

And Camila Mendes and Barbie actress Ariana Greenblatt captured Sweeney standing next to her colorful three-tiered cake as loved ones sang her an operatic rendition of “Happy Birthday.” When the song ended, Sweeney blew out the candles and raised her hand as she cheered and blew everyone a kiss.

Several party-goers were thrilled to celebrate the big birthday bash, including Mendes, 29, who wrote on her Instagram Story that “80s prom was a joy” and added two pink hearts. “I love teuuuu :),” Sweeney wrote in response.

Nicola Peltz Beckham was also in attendance, as she shared a video of Sweeney clapping as everyone around her filmed her.

“Happy Birthday Beauty! I love you so much!!” Beckham, 28, wrote alongside a string of emojis including a glittery pink heart, a bow, heart-shaped hands, heart-shaped eyes and a crown.
