Won fifth place in the shot put event at the 2015 World University Games. In 2017, he attended the Kosanov Memorial Conference in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In the same year, he finished second at the Asian Athletics Championships with a time of 19.77m.
In 2018, he won the Asian Games gold medal with a throw of 2075m, breaking Om Prakash Karhana’s record of 2069m set in 2012.
