The Real Housewives of Orange County star Taylor Armstrong only wants what’s best for Kyle Richards following her recent split from Mauricio Umansky.
On Tuesday in the episode Watch what’s happening livehost Andy Cohen asked viewers Armstrong (52) a question about the breakup of the former couple and whether she remained in contact with her ex The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fellow actor.
“You know how much I love Kyle,” Armstrong, 52, said. “And I want Kyle to be happy. I love them both very much and I know they will always love each other. I want everyone to be happy. I’m so neutral on the whole thing.”

PEOPLE reported in early July that Richards, 54, and Umansky, 53, were separating.
“Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for some time, but they still live under the same roof,” said a source close to the couple. “They have remained amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”
The now exes met in 1994. At that time, Richards split from her first husband, Guraish Aldjufrie, with whom she had a daughter, Farrah Brittany (née Aldjufrie).
Richards and Umansky later married in 1996. They now have daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15.

How Richards became a mainstay of RHOBHthe couple at the time previously said viewers of the show saw their real-life relationship play out on camera.
“We’re the same, with or without cameras. We’re just super real and we know each other and we’re real. We don’t have any secrets to hide,” Umansky told PEOPLE in 2013. “It’s one thing we talked about skeletons in the closet, and we can bear with our worst skeletons.”
Umansky denied divorce rumors in April after Halloween is ending the actress was seen without her wedding ring. “We’re not getting divorced. I mean, that’s so stupid,” Umansky said during an episode of Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Tamra Judge’s Two T’s in a pod.

“That one stupid story that got out there, and then all the girls, you know, decided to talk about it on Housewives, and that’s the story now,” he added. “So there’s definitely some storylines, and Kyle and I are going to deal with that, and we’re going to take it from there. It is what it is.”
Despite their separation, Umansky and Richards maintained a cordial relationship. Last month, Umansky posted a photo on Instagram taken from a trip to Italy, showing the exes with their daughters.
“Summer vacation 2023 in place,” he wrote in the title of the post.

Speaking on Amazon Live in July, Richards said her daughters were holding up well after the split, adding: “You know, they’re really strong.”
“Listen, they know we all love each other and they’re old enough to understand that everything isn’t perfect all the time and that’s okay regardless of how much they love each other,” she said.
Richards addressed the topic again in another Amazon Live last month, admitting that navigating their relationship was difficult.
“You know this was very difficult to do,” she said at the time. “[Because] he plays with so many people watching us and [with us] to be in public.”
