It’s a love story — and this Swiftie just said, “Yes!”
While live-streaming Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Portugal performance at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon on Friday, May 24, Beatriz Simões unexpectedly filmed her boyfriend proposing to her during “Love Story”.
Simões, 23, continued to spin as Ricardo Matos, 20, got down on one knee right as Swift, 34, sang: “He got down on the ground and pulled out a ring and said, ‘Marry me Juliet, you’ll never have to be himself.’ ”
“It was a complete surprise,” Simões tells PEOPLE the day after the proposal, during which she gave Matoš a silent “yes” while sobbing. “I’m still in total shock. It was magical and everyone was so happy.”

The couple, who met five years ago and started dating three years ago, live together in Porto, Portugal.
Matos timed his marriage proposal to Simões perfectly, waiting until the eighth song on Swift’s 46-song playlist to pop the question.
“He kept singing the song and I just ugly cried and hugged him,” Simões says before sending a one-minute clip of her stream to PEOPLE.
Swift continued to sing, oblivious to the moment happening in Part 3, as Matos lip-synched, “I love you and that’s all I really know. I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress. It’s a love story, baby, just say ‘Yes.’ ”
Keren Noyman (28), who was also at the concert on May 24, filmed the proposal of fellow Swifties from another angle.
“I felt jealous because the last time I went out was with a guy I’d been with for eight years and I didn’t get a proposal,” jokes Tel Aviv-based Noyman to PEOPLE. “But seriously, I watched proposals like this as a kid on the internet so it was super exciting to see it happen with my own eyes. They were crazy cute, and everyone around us was very excited and happy for them!”
