Taylor Swift Offers Inside Look at Tour — and Confirms How She Gets Onstage — with 'I Can Do It with a Broken Heart' Video

The last night of Taylor Swift’s five-day stay in London for the Eras Tour was full of sweet surprises!

After performing the final song at her show at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, August 20, the pop megastar, 34, unveiled a new music video for “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” from her latest album, Department for tortured poets.

The video — which Swift played for the audience after she left the stage — shows the star behind the scenes rehearsing for the Eras tour and spending time with her crew and dancers. She later posted the video on YouTube for all her fans to enjoy.

At the start of the video, the stadium can be seen filling up with people before it quickly cuts to backstage footage of the tour. The visual cuts between Swift rehearsing different parts of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” with her dancers and footage of her fans, being transported in a cleaning cart and exiting the stage by jumping off the stage onto an air bag.

Earlier in the evening during her Eras Tour concert, the “Fortnight” singer shocked fans when she invited friend and collaborator Florence Welch on stage for a performance of their song “Florida!!!” which appears on Department for tortured poets. Swift’s friend and producer Jack Antonoff also joined her on stage for a mash-up later in the evening.

The 14-time Grammy winner’s duet with Welch, 37, was the song’s debut on the Eras Tour and the first time Swift performed it live.

Meanwhile, Antonoff, 40, and Swift performed a mash-up of “Death By a Thousand Cuts” from the singer-songwriter’s album Loveras well as “Getaway Car” from Reputation.

“I think a lot about why I’m lucky enough to be able to work on a show like the Eras Tour, and that’s because I’ve been lucky enough to find friendships over the years that have been amazing collaborations and creativity [forces]” Swift told the crowd before inviting Antonoff out. “I got to make music with one of my best friends in the world, and he’s here tonight.”

She also told the crowd that the songs they were performing were some of their “favorites we’ve done together.”

Following their duet, Swift performed “So Long, London” live for the first time.

“You know, we’ve been doing a lot of shows here on this tour, so it’s rare to have a song that I’ve never performed live before,” the “Mirrorball” singer said before playing. “And yet here we are.”
