This year, Moss-Bachrach won his first Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance in the series about female sandwich shop workers in Chicago.

He told the newspaper that the awards were “one of the happiest nights of my life”, but added that he was also “stressed”.

“… because then we come back to do a third season and win a bunch of awards, you start to feel like, ‘Oh, f—’. I mean, then you really don’t want to be found out as a fraud, and then there’s pressure,” he explained is an actor.

Although Moss-Bachrach expressed mixed feelings, he stated that, overall, he appreciated the show’s success.

“I mean, I wasn’t walking around with my head in my hands or anything like that. But like any job, at a certain point it becomes routine. I’ve been an actor for about 25 years and the reality is that, for most actors and probably most people in the world, you do a job because you have to to feed my family,” he said. “I feel very fortunate at a time where work is very tight in my line of work. I just feel very privileged.”
