Finalists Cow, Donut, Gazelle and Sea Queen kicked off Wednesday’s finale with a group performance of “What I Like About You” by The Romantics.
“I have a feeling tonight is going to be one of the most amazing finals ever,” judge Jenny McCarthy said at the start of the episode.
His co-star Robin Thicke suspected it could be “the most competitive finale we’ve ever had.”

Cow kicked things off by recapping his Masked singer travel in your pack of clues. The farm animal said he chose the cow costume because he “thought it would be a super fun way to get my board friends off my scent.”
“Even though I’m used to wearing different hats, being here challenges me in a whole new way,” Cow continued. “I had to relearn how to fully express myself, from the way I move to the way I dance. When you get to my level of success and fame, there’s a certain expectation and pressure to behave in the same old way, so it’s been a huge thrill to embrace this whole new persona.”

Cow tackled Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation”.
“This has got to be the biggest star we’ve ever had,” Jenny, 51, said afterwards.
When host Nick Cannon asked Cow to describe hers Masked singer experience, Cow called it “a dream come true.”
The panel, which also included Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger, suspected that Cow could be Taye Diggs, NE-YO, Billy Porter or Usher.
Gazela entered the stage next.
“The deer really mean a lot to me because of a loved one I lost,” Gazelle said in her clue packet. “But what I didn’t say is that I actually have a deer tattoo for that person with flowers growing out of the antlers.”
As a result, Gazelle believed her Masked singer clothes “like fate”.

“She feels like the alter ego I’ve been craving,” Gazelle said.
Gazelle sang “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol.
“Being a Gazelle helped me find my voice and confidence in singing again and now I don’t want to stop,” she said afterwards.
Auli’i Cravalho, Leighton Meester, Camila Mendes, Gina Rodriguez, Ashley Tisdale and Constance Wu appeared as Gazelle options.
The sea queen continued with her royal presence.
“Wearing this costume did not go smoothly,” the Sea Queen admitted in her clue pack. “I’m an experienced performer, but I’m used to being myself on stage and having to learn new songs and choreography while wearing a huge mask, which really stretched me as an entertainer.”
The sea queen found her costume “so claustrophobic” and admitted she felt “nervous again in a way I haven’t in a long time.”

The underwater king tackled Fontella Bass’ “Rescue Me” and ended the performance by collapsing on stage and dropping his microphone. “I did it on purpose,” the Sea Queen said after standing up with the help of the Men in Black.
Robin, 46, called the performance “entertaining times 10” and Jenny considered the Sea Queen a “legend”.
“It was amazing and, you know, I learned so much,” the Sea Queen said of her time on the show. “It’s very challenging. I feel like I’m a better entertainer now because of this show.”

The committee suspected that the Sea Queen could be Erykah Badu, Macy Gray, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Lewis or Niecy Nash.
A donut rounded off the performances. In Donut’s clue packet, the pastry chef said he continued Masked singer at “the lowest point in my life”.
“Becoming Donut is what I needed to heal from my wife’s death,” Donut added. “I know I get really excited in this donut costume because every Saturday morning I would make coffee and my wife would go out and get donuts.”

Donut sang “You Are So Beautiful to Me” by Joe Cocker.
“It’s honestly an honor right now to witness you on this stage,” Nicole, 45, told Donut.
Engelbert Humperdinck, Tom Jones or John Schneider emerged as possibilities for Donut’s identity.
Then it was time for the studio audience to cast their first round of votes and decide which two contestants would get the boot. After the votes were tallied, Nick (43) revealed that the Sea Queen would be the first to unmask, followed by Gazelle.
When the Sea Queen took off her monster mask, the judges’ guess for “I Try” singer Macy Gray, 56, emerged.

But Gazela surprised everyone by showing herself to be like that Sweet little liars star Janel Parrish.
Krava and Krafna each had one more attempt to prove why they deserved to win. Donut was first, saying in his latest clue pack that “most people don’t know that I like to sing” despite his success in that field.
The sweet treat began with Dobie Gray’s “Drift Away” as his swan song.

After wrapping, Nick asked Donut what it would mean to win Masked singer.
“God knows I could really, really use some joy in my life right now, and a win would give me great, great joy,” Donut replied.
Cow concluded by admitting that he feels like he hasn’t had his big moment yet.
“Even though I won a Grammy, I never got to televise that moment, I never got to give my acceptance speech, and most importantly, I never got to acknowledge the person who made it all possible: my mother,” Cow said in his final package of clues. .
Cow is credited with “Take a Bow” by Rihanna.
“We’re in the presence of a superstar,” Nick said.
Celebrities who won ‘The Masked Singer’
The cow said winningly Masked singer would be “icing on top of a very nice cake.”
After another round of voting by the judges and the studio audience, Nick announced that Cow would indeed have his cake and eat it too, as the winner Masked singer.
“I feel fantastic!” The cow said about the victory.
However, before Cow could unmask, runner-up Donut had to reveal his identity.
The donut popped out of its fried, frosting-covered disguise to reveal itself as The Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider. The 63-year-old actor, whose wife Alicia died of breast cancer in February, gave a final performance of “Hooked on a Feeling.”

Nicole and Robin agreed that “So Sick” singer NE-YO (44) would be under the mask of the Cow, and it turned out that they were right.
