Tom Holland designed his beer company with himself in mind.
The Spider-Man star, 28, quit drinking in January 2022 and announced his soft drink brand Bero on October 15. On Tuesday, Jan. 7, it was revealed that the recently engaged star’s beverage line will be available at Target stores nationwide.
“When I started in the world of soft drinks, I realized that there was a gap for a real, premium brand. I ended up creating Bero for myself because I craved a product that helped me feel included,” Holland shared with PEOPLE about the drink’s availability at Target. “I wanted to build a brand that not only stood out but, most importantly, helped people fit in. I’m so excited to bring Bero to Target, now available for purchase nationwide.”
Netherlands-based Bero is one of several celebrity-endorsed health-focused brands coming to retail. Target stores also sell Kourtney Kardashian’s Lemme Tone gummies, Blake Lively’s Blake Brown hair care line, and Dwayne Johnson’s Papatui men’s collection.

Holland stressed the importance of creating a non-alcoholic option that is something he wants to drink while he talks Forbes about the product launch in the fall.
“When I got sober, I started exploring the world of non-alcoholic beers and realized that there was a space where I could fit in. My first year sober was very difficult, and if I had Bera, I think it would have been easier,” he said at the time for the sheet.
The star began working on Ber (pronounced “beer-oh” or you can “say what you want!” according to the brand’s website) in November 2023. “It’s no secret that as a celebrity you get offered these types of brand deals all the time” , Holland said Forbes. “But I never found anything I felt particularly passionate about—until now.”

Holland explained that he and his co-creator, longtime liquor dealer John Herman, have been “absolutely grinding” over the past year to create three Bero brews: Kingston Golden Pils, Edge Hill Hazy IPA and Noon Wheat. Even Holland’s fiancee Zendaya was helpful in the development process, but not in the way you might think.
“Zendaya hates beer, like, absolutely hates beer. “She doesn’t drink beer at all, and in the first round of testing she said, ‘Wow, these are really tasty,’ and I said, ‘Well, that’s probably not a good sign,'” joked Holland.
