Is it hot in Las Vegas or is it just BravoCon 2023?
During Vanderpump Rules panel on Friday, stars Tom Sandoval and James Kennedy challenged each other to a shirtless push-up contest on stage as fans and colleagues cheered.
When moderator Karamo Brown took questions from the audience, the first person to get on the mic was Bravo’s Andy Cohen, who said, “I want to know how DJ James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval got so ripped.”
Kennedy, 31, credits “Equinox six days a week” for his physique, while Sandoval, 40, said he started going to the gym instead of “smoking and drinking,” which has helped him in more ways than one.

It didn’t take long for Kennedy to challenge Sandoval to a push-up contest to decide who was the best between the two. Both took off their shirts and went strong, including one-legged push-ups.
While both slowed toward the end, it was Kennedy who emerged as the champion.
The men high-fived, offering a change in attitude from the last time fans saw them on Vanderpump Rules reunion in May when Kennedy called Sandoval “a worm with a mustache” after his affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
When asked how his relationship with Sandoval has changed since last season Vanderpump Rules — season 11 premiere in January — Kennedy admitted that it was “one of the hardest years” for him to shoot.
“I balance trying to mature, trying to grow up and also being hurt a lot by one of the people that was so close to me in my life,” he said. “There were moments where I wanted to turn around and say something I was fucking sorry for, but I didn’t. I wanted to use this year to take a more mature path and try to understand how everything was happening.”

Along with Kennedy and Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay, Brock Davies and Ally Webber also joined the panel to discuss how things have changed since the Season 10 finale and what fans can expect in the next season.
Each panel member had one word to describe the next season, and the results were “sad”, “difficult”, “confusing” and “difficult”. Although things will never go back to normal after “Scandal,” and Ariana says, “We’re not going to be acquaintances or friends, no thanks,” the group is still looking forward to what season 11 has to offer. As Kennedy says, “I think this season is going to be one of the craziest yet.”
