Travis Barker Addresses Rumors Kourtney and Kim Kardashian Are Feuding Over Him

The Blink-182 drummer has spoken out in a new interview about rumors that he and his wife’s sister had an affair nearly two decades ago

Travis Barker is setting the record straight on rumors that he played a role in Kourtney and Kim Kardashian’s sisterly feud.

In a new interview for Los Angeles TimesBarker, 47, addressed the “ridiculous” speculation that his crush on Kim almost two decades ago – which he revealed in his 2016 memoir – had anything to do with her and Kourtney’s current relationship.

“You give people a bit of information and they think they’ve solved the ‘that’s why they’re fighting’ mystery. It’s so funny,” said the Blink-182 drummer, reflecting on the mention of the SKIMS founder in his memoir.

He wrote that she “is—— hot” and continued to “secretly check [her] out” despite the fact that he was dating Paris Hilton at the time.

“It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer.’ Stop,” Barker told the paper, adding details he included in the memoir, “obviously I shared all that stuff because I wanted to skip it. It was therapeutic for me.”

Barker – who married Kourtney, 44, in a series of three ceremonies last year – added: “That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was happening.”

He also insisted his wife bore no ill will over his past comments about her sister.

Kim also spoke about the speculation surrounding her and Barker’s past. In 2021, when Kourtney and the musician started dating, she answered a follower’s question on Instagram denying the rumors.

“NO! Fake story!” Kim wrote in response to a fan asking if she ever got involved with Barker. “We’ve been friends for years and I’m so happy for him and Kourt.”

As for the Kardashian sisters’ ongoing feud, it seems the two are ready to put it behind them.

Tensions erupted after Kim released a collection with Dolce & Gabbana less than a year after Kourtney’s wedding was styled by the Italian fashion house.

In the episode The Kardashiansthe sisters faced off, with Kim claiming that Kourtney drew inspiration from her own wedding to Kanye West in 2014.

“I got married in Italy. Am I going to say you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli,” Kim said in the confessional.

The feud has since escalated, but Kim appeared to mock the sisterly feud in a response to Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble’s Instagram post. Gamble shared a photo from his own Dolce & Gabbana partnership, and Kim reposted one of the photos and tagged Kourtney, adding, “👀.”

On Kim’s 43rd birthday last week, Kourtney also seemed ready to end the feud as she wrote on Instagram: “People only think the fights they’ve seen on TV are bad if they’ve been able to witness the hair pulling, nail biting since early school age. ”

She continued, “The joys of sisterhood. I love you deeply forever and always. May God bless this year with love and happiness and an abundance of joy ❤️.”
