On the Oct. 30 episode of his and Jason Kelce’s podcast, New heightsTravis, 35, opened up about what it was like to watch both of them Grotesqueness and as a host Are you smarter than a celebrity? during a conversation with guest Niecy Nash-Betts.

“I just want to say, I thought you did such a good job,” Nash-Betts, 54, told her colleague, who replied: “I appreciate it, Niecy.”

“I hope you’re not one of those people who’s afraid to look at yourself, because I want you to be proud of yourself. I really am,” she said, doubling over and making Travis find out if he was looking Grotesqueness.

“I’ve definitely looked at myself, but it’s the same thing with, for example, my look at football or anything that I do. Even like the game series that I did on Amazon [Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?]I look at myself and think, ‘Man, I could have done that better, I could have done this better, I could have done this better’.”

Travis continued, “I always have this mentality that, like, I want to do things better than what I’ve done on camera or what I’ve done in the past.”

Nash-Betts assured him, “That’s how you grow. We all do it. We all look at it and say, ‘Oh, I should have made a different choice.’ So the next time you stand in front of the camera, you’ll remember that.”

During her podcast appearance, Nash-Betts also called out Travis, who accidentally brought her up via text.

“Travis, I’m so glad you texted me and told me you had a new phone number because I’ve been texting you, just picking you up, telling you you’ve been so good,” she revealed.

“I asked you like, ‘What did your teammates say… what did your people say [about Grotesquerie]? How does that make you feel? Did you watch?’ And you know what I got? Crickets.”

“You know me better than that,” Travis said as he explained that he got a new phone number because “it was getting crazy.”

“Finally I was on a show with someone as amazing as you. Everyone was punching me, blowing me up,” Travis said. “I had to pass it on to them.”
