The “Water” singer graced the 2024 MTV VMAs red carpet with her daring look on September 11.
The 22-year-old singer posed in a neon yellow Area Couture Fall 2024 strapless gown made from peekaboo twine. She also wore a pair of turquoise panties that could be seen through the cutouts for an extra sexy edge.
She accessorized the design, which also featured floor-sweeping fringe, with sparkling pink Rene Caovilla heels and equally vibrant jewels including a selection of Fabergé rings.
For her glam, Tyla opted for glittery lids, defined lips, lots of blush and her natural curls. She sparkled under the lights thanks to the glitter on her body.

Tyla is among the first-time Moon Person nominees and is up for the award in three categories, including Best R&B and Best New Artist. She later took home the award for the best Afrobeats.
Since topping the charts with her nominated radio hit, Tyla has made a similar impact on the red carpet, pulling off one stunning look after another.
At the 2024 Met Gala, she pulled off an innovative Balmain gown made entirely of crystal and sand to embody the event’s “Garden of Time” dress code.

After walking the carpet (although she was technically carried up the stairs due to how well the dress fit!) Tyla and designer Olivier Rousteing made jaws drop a second time by transforming the full length into a sexy mini dress at the event. .
Tyla also sported a diamond manicure that seemed like it might make everyday tasks (like eating!) challenging, but Tyla was perfect.
“It doesn’t matter. It just looks cute!” she told PEOPLE A fashion philosophy to live by.
