Vittoria Ceretti Tends to Boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio After He Was Seemingly Stung by Jelly Fish on Yacht Trip

Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti continue to vacation together on a luxury Italian yacht – with one uninvited guest.

On Sunday, August 4, the actor (49) and his model girlfriend (26) were photographed going for a swim next to a yacht in Sardinia. However, the relaxing day was not without incident Killers of the Flower Moon the star appears to have been stung by a jellyfish while swimming, photographers at the scene shared. (Several species of invertebrates harmful to humans live in the Mediterranean Sea.)

They filmed DiCaprio trying to examine the red mark on the back of his right thigh on the ship’s deck, pulling his swimsuit aside to see the spot. Ceretti and one of the yacht’s crew appeared to quickly tend to his injury.

For their recent day at sea, the actor tied his hair up in a bun and wore black swim trunks and silver necklaces as he swam in the sea. At one point, he even wore goggles while diving underwater and used what looked like a wakeboard to float on the surface.

Ceretti, meanwhile, wore a black bikini and silver earrings as she bathed in the waters of the Maddalena Archipelago, leaving her long dark hair down as she swam.

The couple was joined on vacation by a host of celebrities, including DiCaprio’s longtime friend and Spider man star Tobey Maguire, also 49, former editor-in-chief of British Vogue Edward Enninful, Dicaprio’s frequent collaborator and actor Lukas Haas and model Neelam Gill.

Just days before, the group were spotted in Sardinia spending even more time on their yacht, with Maguire seen packing a handbag with model Babette Strijbos, while photographers caught them hugging and kissing while swimming on an Italian beach.

DiCaprio and Ceretti have been vacationing in Italy since the end of last month.

The couple have been dating since August 2023, when they were first spotted spending time together in Santa Barbara, California, enjoying ice cream and coffee. In September last year, the couple was even seen spending time with the actor’s mother Irmelin Indenbirken, in photos obtained by Page Six.

In April 2024, a source revealed their relationship to PEOPLE, recalling how they spent a date night with friends at a celebrity-favorite restaurant in Santa Monica, California.

“The restaurant has been a favorite of Leo’s for years and he has enjoyed going out with Vittoria several times,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. – She is, of course, Italian, so she takes care of ordering all the favorites.

“They were sitting next to each other, and he hugged her. They had dinner for hours and everyone had a great time,” the source added at the time, recounting the date of their dinner. “…She’s very sweet, sweet and charming. Leo seems to like her a lot,”
