Although they are no longer one, the couple is still on good terms and even continues to live together as they co-parent their one-year-old daughter, Bodhi.
Chloe Podcast It’s So Wrong He’s Right: “He is [James] he’s still technically my husband,” while Olivia asked, “How long have you been apart?”
The fitness guru replied: “I’ll be honest, exactly one year.
“When we released the statement, we kind of started the conversation in August of last year.
“I think people think it’s a set date, as the days, weeks, months go by, it gets tighter.
“You realize that no one is fighting for this, you realize that you are getting more and more serious about this thing that you are talking about at the beginning.
“Little by little, it dissolved, but the first conversation started happening in August of last year.”
Chloe continued: “I think I knew I was really unhappy and I think he knew he was really unhappy too.
“But I don’t think either of us predicted we’d ever break up.”
She recalled: “I swear to God, I remember the day, the weather, the temperature, the clothes, where we were, everything – I just remember saying ‘I don’t think we should do this anymore’, but it really means it.

“It kind of started from there. It doesn’t just happen, it’s not for us. It’s built on and solidified like the past.”
The star admitted that she still has “boomerang” moments where she is forced to relive her breakup.
In recent weeks James left their matrimonial home and Chloe said: “He moved out and it was like a boomerang moment.
“We were both at Glastonbury and bumped into each other, it was quite surprising for me, I wasn’t expecting it.
“We were with all our mutual friends.
“Sometimes you relive it.
“11 years is a long time, I basically grew up with him.”
Chloe insisted she and James are still “really good friends” but said they are not working well “romantically”.
A life to meet

Chloe said she’s getting back into the dating world, but admitted that dating apps aren’t her thing.
“I’m not going out, I’m talking to people. I’m dipping my toe in the flirting pond,” she shared.
“I don’t know what I’m doing.
“I don’t have a type, I like people with whom I have a vibe and energy.
“The problem now is that everyone meets people on dating apps.
“You can’t get a vibe or a feel for it. Nine times out of ten, it’s guys hugging their dog.
“Me and my friend got a little drunk, downloaded a few apps and laughed at everyone.
“I don’t see that I’m active on any of these apps.
“I don’t like people like that, I get tired of talking to someone I haven’t met.
“I really hope to meet someone in real life.”

Devoted mum Chloe, daughter of TV legends Richard and Judy Finnigan, later released a statement confirming the couple had decided to separate after five years of marriage.
In a joint statement, she said: “James and I have mutually decided to separate at the end of September 2023.
“We had not planned to release a statement at this time – certainly not while the television show was airing – but the constant speculation about our marriage unfortunately forced us to.
“Other than this statement, we will not be speaking publicly about this matter and would request privacy at this time.
“Our only focus now is our beautiful daughter. We will continue to co-parent only with love.”

“There’s a heavy insinuation that he’s not a nice guy,” Chloe told The Sun on Sunday in an interview last month.
“Look, James and I have been through our battles. But we co-parent very well, and 50 percent of that credit goes to him.
“I want him to have some of that respect from people, which I don’t see him getting.”
She added: “I honestly think James and I are doing a fantastic job and I’m very proud of both of us.”
However, the health guru admitted that at first it was much harder for her than for James to be friends because of their daughter.
She explained: “James is a very practical person and I’m not, I’m a very emotional person.
“It wouldn’t make sense to him if we broke up and then continued to absolutely hate life and hate each other’s company.
“For him, it was very practical, like, ‘We better get going and start doing this right.’ I’m a much more emotional person.
“But I’m also very much in love with my daughter, she’s my whole world. So there was no way I was going to put my daughter in some ridiculous, toxic, child-arming situation.”
