Fran Drescher solved a wardrobe malfunction in perhaps record time at Saturday’s Actors Guild Awards!
While on the red carpet at the event over the weekend, Nanny The alum was seen on video thinking quickly when one of her earrings fell off.
During the annual bash, Drescher, 66, wore a stunning red dress and matching long earrings, one of which fell from her ear as she posed for photos. But thanks to the actor’s quick reflexes, she caught the jewelry and put it back in her earlobe in less than 10 seconds — all while still smiling for the cameras.
“Wait, oh my god,” Drescher said as she put the earring back on, before striking more poses. “OK, let’s go.”

During the SAG Awards, Drescher wore a dress by Reem Acra, per Women’s daily wear, covered with red sequins and with a slit on the thigh covered by red lace. She also rocked ruby earrings and a gold necklace from Kazanjian Jewels and paired it all with a sparkling ruby clutch.
The actress, who has been known for her iconic red carpet looks for years, spoke with PEOPLE about the SAG-AFTRA red carpet strike.
The union president — who holds the position through 2022 — revealed during PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly’s Red Carpet Livestream that she feels “victorious” after such a busy year, calling the award “the cherry on top.”

“We’re here, we’re all together, we’re celebrating who we are… It’s really a crescendo of what has really been a stressful and difficult period, but a crucial and turning point, I think for SAG- AFTRA Members,” she said of being the union won the contract in November and successfully ended its four-month strike.
“I gave them permission to have an ego for themselves, to appreciate that they are the center of the wheel in this industry. We can’t do without them, they are fundamental collaborators, they are better than what they do to us, and it’s time for reckoning,” she added. is about how she helped “encourage” union members. “Everyone needs to sit down and accept that this is a turning point – and a foundational agreement was needed.”

Elsewhere on Saturday night, Drescher appeared on stage at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles and offered “congratulations” to the members, saying she had “the greatest appreciation and respect.”
“You survived the longest strike in the history of our union with courage and conviction,” she said. “The journey has been arduous. It has come with great sacrifice and unrelenting stress. Your collective dignity and perseverance to stand up and say, ‘We deserve better because we are better,’ has resulted in a historic billion-dollar contract.”
“Your solidarity ignited workers around the world, setting in motion what will forever be remembered as a hot labor summer. You took the hero’s path and stood on the front lines. . . . You understood what our enormous contribution means to this wonderful industry.”
