Watch moment Prince Harry yelps in pain as he ‘gets tattoo from superstar singer’ in Invictus Games promo

THIS is the moment Prince Harry allowed a famous American rapper to ‘tattoo’ his neck.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, grimaced as he sat on a chair as Jelly Roll looked deep in thought as he posed with an ink gun.

The pair performed a fun skit to promote Harry’s Invictus Games at East Side Ink in New York.

The dad-of-two got a fake ‘I am Jelly Roll’ tattoo on the side of his neck for the hilarious promotion.

This was posted on X by the official platform of the Invictus Games, with the title: “The most… contract in the history of the Invictus Games.

“Watch when Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex meets @JellyRoll615 at East Side Ink Tattoo.

“Don’t miss the duo’s reunion at the #IG25 closing ceremony in Vancouver on February 16th. Get your tickets before they sell out.”

It comes after Prince Harry made his second appearance in Vancouver on Monday when the father-of-two launched the school’s Invictus Games program.

They saw him beaming with pride at a sitting volleyball match.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, the Duke gave Canadian soccer fans a thumbs up as he made another public appearance without his wife Meghan Markle.

The 40-year-old was interviewed before halftime of the CFL’s 111th Gray Cup football game in Vancouver.

Harry was interviewed by TSN’s James Duthie as the Toronto Argonauts took on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The surprise guest said, “First Gray Cup. What am I looking forward to? The game is on. Let’s go!”

He wore a dark shirt and a long black jacket and waved to the crowd before he was quickly escorted away.

The Royals later returned to the field with BC Lions owner Amar Doman and Canadian athlete Wenshuang Nie.

The founding sponsor of the Invictus Games then participated in the jersey handover ceremony with competitor Wen.

The headstrong duke has spoken several times at award ceremonies and independently participated in charity panels and meetings.

Some commentators see it as the prince “fully revamping” his charity work – and recently his wife Meghan has not been seen in public with him.

Sources in California say the new “solo Harry” is his own idea.

Royal biographer Hugo Vickers, 72, told The Sun how much happier he seems.

He said: “We’ve seen Prince Harry make several appearances without Meghan recently.

“Of course, that’s what he does very well when he’s doing football, the invictus games and sports.

“Honestly, he’s a lot better at it than when he’s speaking what I’d call a Californian-speak, which Meghan seems to have dictated to him.

“So I praise him every time, I must say, and I’m sure he’s very popular.

“It’s a good thing he’s doing it, so whether or not he’s forging, you know it’s some sort of payback to the old Harry.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will RETURN to Britain for the Invictus ceremony

PRINCE Harry’s Invictus Games will take place in Birmingham – meaning the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be back in the UK.

The West Midlands city will be unveiled today at a flag raising ceremony.

Harry is not attending the ceremony, but he and Meg are now set to return for the 2027 games.

Meghan, 42, has joined Harry, 39, at every Invictus Games since they were together after making their first appearance at the 2017 Games in Toronto.

She has avoided the UK since the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, apart from spending just a few hours at Heathrow as she changed flights ahead of the couple’s ‘pseudo-royal’ tour of Nigeria in May.

The last time Harry held his Games for Wounded Soldiers in the UK in 2014, the London Games were attended by William, Camilla and Charles.

It comes after Invictus CEO Dominic Reid stepped down from his post, with the Invictus Games taking place in Whistler and Vancouver, Canada this year.

Prince Harry said: “Congratulations to Birmingham, UK, on being chosen to host the 2027 Invictus Games.

“Your city’s strong ties to the armed forces community made it a significant contender from the start.

“Over the years, we’ve seen each city bring to life a unique spirit and vision for competitors, their families and spectators.

“We have no doubt that the citizens of Birmingham will join in celebrating the unwavering respect and admiration we have for our veteran and service community, showing the world how their bravery ignites hope and unites us all – as your city knows well.”
