Watch Will Ferrell’s Sons Adorably Rescue Their Dad from a Wardrobe Mishap on the Will & Harper Red Carpet

Will Ferrell’s sons reached out to their dad after he had a minor wardrobe malfunction while at the premiere.

On Thursday, September 19, the actor and comedian, 57, appeared at the Egyptian Theater Hollywood in Los Angeles to promote his new documentary Will & Harper — and his two sons — Magnus, 20, and Mattias, 17, followed him.

While Will was giving the interview, Magnus and Mattias noticed that the tails of their father’s jacket were still attached and ducked behind him to try and separate the tails. Eventually they came back with scissors to cut them open.

In a hilarious video shared on The Hollywood ReporterOn the TikTok page, the younger Ferrells can be seen running behind his father as he stands next to his co-star Harper Steele. Together they pulled and lifted the back of Dad’s navy blue jacket, which still had loose threads hanging from it. The Step brothers The actor can be heard jokingly saying that his children are acting like “primates” and posing to finally fix his suit.

The actor’s wife Viveca Paulin was also present. The couple – who have been married since 2000 – also share a 14-year-old son named Axel, who was not present at the premiere.

The whole family posed together for some rare photos, with Will seen wearing a navy suit, light blue shirt and blue tie – as well as a printed pocket square accessory for the look. Mattias kept things business casual as he wore a navy blue button-up and blue trousers, while Magnus wore a white shirt and open jacket, complete with a brown belt and gold chain necklace.
