Which Bridgerton Character You Are, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

Bridgerton consists of an eccentric group of characters, but which one are you closest to?

While fans have categorized themselves as either Penelope or Daphne over the last three seasons, your zodiac sign can also say a lot about which character you are.

While several characters’ birthdays are noted in Julia Quinn’s novels, others possess the defining characteristics of the 12 zodiac signs.

As the third season hits Netflix on May 16, PEOPLE spoke with astrologer and bestselling author Lisa Stardust for their official readings.

Aries: Penelope

According to the date of birth given in the book series, Penelope is an Aries. Like a Fire Sign, Penelope is portrayed as incredibly brave and sometimes defiant as she gossips about the tone through her Lady Whistledown column. On the other hand, Penelope is known to be incredibly protective of those she loves and “guards her emotions,” which Stardust says are both Aries qualities.

Taurus: Benedict

As an art lover, Stardust notes that Benedict is closely related to the “beloved creative” sign of Taurus. In addition, he possesses many qualities of a bull, especially his sweet demeanor. “With his moderate emotions and unique perspectives, he gives TLC to others like Tauruses,” says Stardust.

Gemini: Kate

Stardust points out that Gemini signs always look out “for their siblings,” just like Kate did for her younger sister Edwina during season two. Additionally, Stardust notes that Kate’s “smart, witty, and wavering emotions connect her to an air sign.”

Cancer: Lady Featherington

As the matriarch of the Featherington family, Lady Featherington “can be overly fussy with her children,” Stardust notes, a key characteristic of Cancer parents. “Cancers are very involved in their child’s affairs, and that’s why she connects with the water sign,” adds Stardust.

Leo: Queen Charlotte

Since Leo is “the most regal sign of the zodiac,” Stardust notes that it only “makes sense that Queen Charlotte would rule this Fire sign.” Stardust specifically notes that the Queen possesses the same “passionate, theatrical lust for life and power” that the typical Leo possesses.

Virgo: Purple

As a single parent, Violet works hard not only to provide for her child, but also to provide them with suitable love partners as they start families of their own. “Her hard work to support her family is worth it, which makes her a Virgo,” Stardust observes. In addition, Virgos have a strong desire to create order, which largely describes the Bridgerton matriarch.

Libra: Daphne

“As an intellectual and a beauty, Daphne optimizes the air sign of Libra,” says Stardust. Not only is she open to the world around her, but Stardust points out that she “finds comfort in someone who challenges her, like any Libra.”

Scorpio: Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings

Although Simon has a “thoughtful personality that he wears on the surface,” deep down he’s “eager, emotional, loyal, and loyal on the inside,” all of which make him the ideal Scorpio, according to Stardust.

Archer: Lady Danbury

As shown in both Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte: The Bridgerton Story, Lady Danbury is a free spirit who loves her freedom, just like a Fire sign. Stardust adds that, like a Sagittarius, “he doesn’t hold back on speaking his mind and doing what he wants when he wants to.”

Capricorn: Anthony

As the eldest Bridgerton, a lot rests on Anthony’s shoulders, causing him to often come across as “stubborn, rigid and determined,” all Capricorn qualities. That said, he does have a sensitive side, which Stardust says “all sea goats show to those they love and care about.”

Aquarius: Eloise

The quintessential middle child, “Eloise marches to the beat of her own drum and defies societal expectations like an Aquarius,” says Stardust. “It’s important to do your own thing on your own time, which makes her a water carrier living in Bridgerton.”

Pisces: Colin

As Colin’s birthday in the books falls on March 2, he is technically a Pisces. Like a water sign, he is always on the move and has proven to be quite creative when writing about his adventures. “He longs for romance and excitement like a Pisces,” adds Stardust.
