The Nerveless Nocks gave a fantastic performance on the 10th episode of the 17th season of America’s Got Talent (AGT). It featured a father-daughter duo performing daring stunts on stage, stunning both the audience and the judges. The Nerveless Nocks family represents the family of Michelangelo (father) and Angelina (daughter) Nock from Florida. They were one of 13 performers featured in the AGT Season 17, Show 10, final audition episode.
The official synopsis for the latest episode titled Auditions End and Judge Deliberations reads:
“Auditions are ending, and the judges must determine who will advance to the live performances; the series stars creator/executive producer Simon Cowell with celebrity judges Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandela; Terry Crews hosts.”
While The Nerveless Nocks’ performance impressed everyone, it wasn’t their first appearance on AGT.
AGT contestants The Nerveless Nocks come from a circus family.
The Nerveless Nocks have already featured on AGT: Extreme when their performance horrified Simon Cowell. He even mentioned an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where he detailed how that act almost went wrong. Nerveless Nocks are members of the Nock family. Michelangelo and Angelina are the ones who generally do feats together and have a long history of performing acrobatic/courageous activities. They even have a family history to back up their claims. They come from the family that founded the famous Swiss Circus Nock in 1840. Angelina is the eighth generation of The Nerveless Nocks, according to her Instagram bio.
According to the group’s official website:
“Nerveless Nocks Productions Inc. was founded in 1840 as the first Swiss circus and were pioneers in the Thrill and Stunt business, creating Extreme Circus and Thrill Spectaculars around the world.” The Nerveless Nocks made their United States debut headlining The Greatest Show on Earth in 1954, with their unique Sway Pole spectacular.”
The original Nerveless Nocks were Charles Nock, Eugene Nock Sr., Dorothy Nock, Elizabeth Bauer Nock and Joseph Bauer, according to the website. Nock The Clown, stunning sky-high swing poles, Astro Nocks risky space wheel, Nocks Globe of Fear and Skykings Skycycle are among the stunts and performances of The Nerveless Nocks Thrill Shows.
Episode 10 of AGT Season 17 featured 13 performers.
In addition to The Nerveless Nocks, AGT Season 17 Episode 10 had 12 other performances. While some advanced to the next round, others were asked to leave. The Nerveless Nocks (brave act), Emily Bland (stand-up comedian), Unreal Crew (dance group), Aubrey Burchell (singer), Bay Turner (singer), Camille K (singer/guitarist), David Snyder (singer), Mr. Moo Shakes (drummer), Waffle (dance group), Penny Star Sr. (comedienne), Mind2Mind (mentalists), Noggin (dancer) and La (acrobatic duo).
The 10th episode of AGT was hosted by Terry Crews and judged by Sophia Vergara, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum. The latest show marked the end of auditions for the 17th season. The live shows will begin next week on August 9, 2022. America’s Got Talent Season 17 airs a new episode every Tuesday from 8:00 PM ET to 10:00 PM ET on NBC. Beginning with the live shows/qualifying rounds, the network will air two episodes per week until September 7, 2022. The finale will air on NBC on September 13 and 14.
