Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie Kelce (nee McDevitt) are a beloved NFL couple.

“They are great partners,” a source told PEOPLE, adding that Kylie is a “great” addition to the Kelce family. “She’s very sweet and composed, very cool. Everyone loves her, like everyone.”

Jason and Kylie originally met on Tinder. After dating for two years, they got married in Philadelphia in April 2018.

The couple now share three daughters: Wyatt Elizabeth, Elliotte Ray and Bennett Llewellyn — who was born just weeks after the 2023 Super Bowl, otherwise known as the “Kelce Bowl.”

She’s a Philly Girl

Jason may not be a born-and-raised Philadelphian — the NFL star grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio — but he’s firmly rooted in the City of Brotherly Love. The Super Bowl champion was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011 and played for the team for 12 seasons. He is affectionately known throughout the city (and beyond!) as the “King of Philly.”

Kylie, however, was raised in Eagles country. Born in 1992, she grew up in Narberth, a Main Line suburb of Philadelphia. She stayed nearby for college, attending Cabrini University in Wayne, Pennsylvania. She graduated in communications, and Jason was by her side when she graduated in 2017.

“She’s from that area. Both her parents are here, my parents came and she has a lot of friends, family members. She’s not alone, not even a little,” the professional athlete told reporters the day after the birth of his first born in October 2019, noting that his teammates and coaches were a great support. “There’s not much I can do. Obviously, I can be supportive and whatnot, but, you know, you can’t milk me.”

She and Jason met on Tinder

IN Kelce, In an Amazon Prime Video documentary, Kylie opened up about meeting her husband, admitting that she didn’t know at first that the person she was hooking up with was an athlete. “None of his pictures showed Eagles football,” she said.

Kylie said that for their first date, she went to meet Jason and his friends at a bar. However, the relationship did not last long. “Forty-five minutes later, he fell asleep in the bar, like right, outside, like sleeping, like sleeping,” she said in the documentary.

“The next day he called and asked, can we try it again?” Kylie said, adding that he “did a lot better” impressing her the next time they went out.

The couple made their relationship official on Instagram on November 11, 2015, when Kylie shared a black-and-white picture with her beau with the caption: “Thank god you swiped right too.”

She and Jason were married in Philadelphia

The couple tied the knot at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia on April 14, 2018. Their wedding planner, Sarah Alderman, said there were about 170 guests at the wedding. Kelce’s 20-pound Irish Wolfhound, Winnie, who they welcomed in May 2017 and are reportedly “obsessed” with Philadelphia Magazine, was among those present.

The wedding came two months after Jason and his Eagles won Super Bowl LII. Their engagement appears to have been short-lived, as Philadelphia photographer Hugh E Dillon claimed to have received a tip “six weeks” earlier from a customer who said they had seen Jason shopping for an engagement ring and wedding bands.

Kylie shared a sweet message on Instagram to mark their first wedding anniversary, writing: “One year ago today we stood in front of our closest friends and family and vowed our love and commitment to each other. I am so beyond grateful to share my life with this man.”

She is a girl mom

Jason and Kylie are the proud parents of three daughters.

Two months before they welcomed their first child, Kylie wore a green Eagles t-shirt that said “62 did this” in large letters with an arrow pointing towards her stomach.

“Just giving credit where it’s due… And to all the people who told me I was glowing… it was sweat,” the mom-to-be joked on Instagram in August 2019.

Their oldest daughter, Wyatt Elizabeth Kelce, was born on October 2, 2019. Jason told reporters that they originally thought Wyatt was a boy and Charlotte was a girl, but friends went with the latter name first and liked the way Wyatt sounded “regardless.” genus.

Wyatt’s younger sisters, Elliotte Ray Kelce and Bennett Llewellyn joined the family on March 4, 2021 and February 23, 2023, respectively.

In November 2023, Jason and Kylie shared their first holiday card as a family of five.

Kylie was in the stands to cheer Jason on during the 2023 Super Bowl — and she was fully prepared in case she went into labor during the game.

Although Kylie brought her two birth mothers to the stadium in case she went into labor at the Super Bowl, she did not give birth that day.

“It was an epic game, an epic Super Bowl, epic for our family. But we missed one thing that could have made it even more epic. That baby is still in Kylie’s belly,” Jason said during February. 15 episodes New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

He added: “I was actually rooting for Kylie to go into labor and have the baby in the stadium. I feel like it’s very selfish of me, but that’s what I wanted to happen. I don’t know why I wanted it to happen.”

She joked that her brother-in-law Travis is “not family” during the 2023 Super Bowl.

“Being a part of the Kelce family right now is very exciting,” she said.

“I, of course, think, ‘Sorry Travis, we’re not a family this week,'” she joked. “But, you know, next week it’s going to be love again.”

She is a philanthropist

The Kelchevs both give back to their community. In October 2022, Jason founded his own foundation (Be)Philly, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of young people in Philadelphia.

“Whether it’s my family, my friends, or my fellow Philadelphians, I’ve always felt tremendous love and support that has helped me achieve my dreams and potential on and off the field. Now it’s my turn,” Jason wrote on the nonprofit’s website.

And Kylie regularly helped raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation. She organizes an annual event on Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, which raised $150,000 — of which the Kelces donated $50,000 — in its second year in 2022.

Kylie has been volunteering since she was a young child — as a high school student, she worked with the New Jersey Special Olympics and helped pack boxes to send to soldiers.

She played field hockey at the collegiate level

As a student, Kylie played field hockey at Lower Marion High School in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, as well as during college.

According to her Cabrini Athletics page, during her senior year in 2016 she was named to the All-CSAC First Team and ECAC South All-Stars First Team and totaled 15 points with five goals and five assists. In 2019, she called becoming part of the Cabrini field hockey family “one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.” She was also the head coach at her former high school.

She made her debut on Jason’s podcast in September 2023

Kylie appeared on the September 2023 episode of her husband and brother-in-law’s podcast. New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

During the episode, she talked about meeting her future husband on Tinder. “His profile at the time was something like, ‘I want to have deep meaningful conversations and talk about getting married and having kids,'” she recalled.

Kylie also opened up about her first date with Jason, saying he “fell asleep” in a bar for 45 minutes “because he was too drunk”. She recalled how Eagles second baseman Bo Allen then “performed the greatest physical feat of his life when the fireman carried him back to his apartment.”

Jason said at the time that he was “sober enough to know” that Kylie was “the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in my life” before noting that their second date “went a lot better”.
