Brar, the land of barbecue, was born in Lucknow. Growing up, he was fascinated by the barbecue vendors on the streets of the city. Passion led him to become a chef at the age of 17. He was determined. An Indian chef taught Munir Ahmed the basics of cooking barbecue. It happened after Keban Ustad.
However, coming from a respectable landowner family is not a prestigious profession, because the kitchen brings obstacles. Brar had to try to convince his parents, especially his father, that cooking was a worthwhile option. Then Brar enrolled in the Institute of Hotel Management in Lucknow, India.
Brar has enjoyed much success since then, including being named in the book Culinary Forum of India as one of the Top 50 Chefs. TAG Gourmet Kitchen, the owner of an all-vegetarian restaurant, also released his first book, Come Into My Kitchen, in 2016.
During her career, Brar has prepared delicacies for many Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities. He held a reception at the residence of the Prime Minister of India and Rashtrapati Bhawan.
