In Arlington, Texas, in the United States, on September 17, 1991, Ricky Hoying and Connie Hoying gave birth to Scott Hoying. He grew up there and went to Martin High School. He has a sister named Lauren Hedrick, and Mitchell Grassi has been his best friend since childhood. They were close friends with Kristin Maldonado and attended the same school. The trio later decided to form their own band to compete in a local radio contest and meet the cast of “Glee.”
