Woman ‘raped in children’s playground’ after being approached by ‘four unknown men’ as cops launch urgent hunt

A WOMAN was approached by four “unknown” men before they allegedly raped her on a children’s playground.

One man is said to have carried out the horrific attack in Canterbury after the others had left.

Toddler’s Cove Playground near Whitehall Road in Canterbury

The incident reportedly happened at 9.30pm yesterday at the Toddler’s Cove playground near Whitehall Road.

Kent Police said: “It was reported that the woman was initially approached by four unknown males.

“One of them attacked the victim after the others left the scene.

“The suspect was white and described as Eastern European and about 18 or 19 years old.

“He had tight black curly hair that covered his ears and he was wearing a white tracksuit top and white bottoms.

“He was carrying a small white bag around his waist.

“The two other men with him were white and of a similar age.

“The fourth man had darker skin and was wearing a green fleece and black pants.”
