Allison Williams Brings Sassy Video Message from M3GAN to N.Y. Comic Con, Teases Sequel: 'Miss Me?'

M3GAN is back.

During the BlumFest 2024 panel at New York Comic Con on Friday, October 18, star producer Allison Williams revealed that the long-awaited sequel, M3GAN 2.0“just wrapped” recording.

The actress herself brought a video message from M3GAN for the convention participants. “This bitch won’t let me go alone,” Williams, 36, joked before the video played on the big screen behind her.

The robot doll says in the clip: “Hi, New York Comic Con. Do you miss me? Unfortunately, I couldn’t be there because I’m slaying on the set of my killer new movie, M3GAN 2.0. I’m upgraded. See you geeks in June.”

Williams said during the Q&A that her animatronic actor is a “diva” on set. Without giving too much away, the star also added that the upcoming sequel will be “bigger and more expansive.”

Elsewhere during Blumhouse Productions’ presentation, CEO Jason Blum teased their plan for 2025, including The wolf manof The invisible man director Leigh Whannell; A woman in the yard acting Danielle Deadwyler; and a thriller Drop starring Meghann Fahy and Brandon Sklenar. They also presented the first poster for Five Nights at Freddy’s continuation.

Original M3GAN became a surprise viral sensation after its release in January 2023, directed by Gerard Johnstone and written by Akela Cooper. Williams starred alongside young actress Violet McGraw as her orphaned niece who befriends the titular high-tech BFF who soon turns deadly.

AND M3GAN spinoff film, an erotic thriller called Soulm8teIt’s being directed by Kate Dolan and is expected in theaters in January 2026. It’s about a widower who grieves his wife by getting an AI companion — eventually turning a “harmless love bot into a deadly soulmate.”

M3GAN 2.0 it’s in theaters June 27.
