The image, originally uploaded to X, shows three trucks lined up behind each other from a side angle.
Each carries an oval container of liquid as its burden.
The only advice you get is which direction the motors should move.
Based on this, Brits with a high driving IQ could deduce which of them is driving in that direction.
It all comes down to the way the liquid is tilted.
In the first truck, it appears to be moving forward, while in the third, it appears to be moving backwards.
Meanwhile, the liquid in the middle bowl is perfectly flat.
Since it’s meant to move from left to right across the picture, that means a third truck must be the answer.
As the vehicle accelerates, the torque applied to it pushes the fluid towards the rear of the tank.
It’s exactly the same as when a driver suddenly accelerates and feels pushed back into the seat.

The first truck, therefore, must brake, creating the opposite effect and forcing the fluid forward.
And the one in the middle must be motionless, because no force acts on the liquid in any case.
Social media users were left confused by this puzzle.
One complained that there was “not enough information” to solve the puzzle, while another pointed out that it could be either of them, depending on whether they were speeding up or slowing down.
However, some viewers managed to come up with the right answer.
One pointed out, “The only correct answer we can know for sure is C.”
