Something mysterious lurks behind the shadows in a small town in Georgia.
In the new teaser for the brand new Peacock horror series TeacupYvonne Strahovski and Scott Speedman face some terrifying threats as they fight to keep their family safe.
The short teaser sets the stage for a mysterious danger at the ranch, where James (Speedman) and Maggie Chenoweth (Strahovski) and their children live. A gas-masked villain poses said threat, though it’s unclear what exactly the family is facing as a series of intense but brief clips flash across the screen, showing a scared and tense cast.
The teaser ends with a shot of Strahovski and Speedman’s son Arlo (Caleb Dolden) as he lies on the ground with a bloodied face and a bloodied hand falling beside him.

Peacock’s New Teacup The horror series gets a chilling first look after being unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2024.
Teacup follows “a diverse group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive,” according to the official log.
The horror series is based on the 1988 book by Robert McCammon. Sting, but showrunner Ian McCulloch said the series is “very much a special thing.”

Describing the eight-episode series as “a puzzle box mystery, an edge-of-your-seat thriller, a horror story that can’t but must look, a family drama, a sci-fi epic,” McCulloch said in a statement that Teacup “stands on the shoulders” of the stories of the book from 1988.
Executive producer James Wan called it “a genre-bending blend of horror, mystery and drama with layers that unfold like a captivating puzzle.” He also praised the lead cast, Strahovski, Speedman and Chaske Spencer, as “incredibly talented”.
Along with Strahovski, Speedman, Spencer and Dolden, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Emilie Bierre and Luciano Leroux also star.
