Zeyn Shaw is an Indian actor. He came into limelight after playing the lead role of Veer Ahuja in the Netflix Hindi series Class.

Zayn Shaw was born in New Delhi, India. He attended a boarding school in Singapore. Zeyn has been fascinated by performance since she was a child and often participated in various cultural activities at school. He decided to pursue a career in acting after performing in his school’s annual play in first grade.

Zayn performed in various stage plays and productions while studying acting at the Lee Strasberg School of Theater and Film in New York. He has created more than 50 improvisational plays, a type of play in which actors work without a script and the stories are spontaneously created. In 2023, Zeyn made her digital debut in the Netflix series Class, playing the role of Ahuja.

- Zayn has loved performing since he was a child and visited Mumbai during the summer vacation. He has interned on the sets of Bollywood films and commercials.
- Soon after Zain moved to Mumbai in 2018, he auditioned multiple times; however, he was often rejected because of his fair complexion. Later, in 2020, Zayn was selected to audition for his first TV series, Class (2023). Zain talked about this in an interview and said:
It actually started with a lot of rejection. I was in a film school in New York. I spent about a year doing 50-60 improv shows and moved to Mumbai in 2018. People used to reject me in auditions because of my fair complexion. After countless rejections, the audition for Class found me during the pandemic. They liked me and auditioned me with the locked cast. I got this role in October 2020. I’m definitely a pandemic actor (laughs). “
- According to Zayn, the Netflix series Class is his first project in front of the camera. He had never been in any commercials or shows before this series. In an interview, Zayn talked about the cast and working on his first series, Class . He said,
I was scared because the class was my first experience in front of a camera. I had never even done advertising before. When I walked onto the set and saw so many people and big cameras around me, I was terrified, but within four or five days of shooting I became comfortable with it. I was lucky enough to have a director who helped me a lot. “
